One of our favourite magazines here at Knife Sharp is delicious. as they have some amazing recipes, and the food photography is out of this world. So, we are extremely proud to be featured in this month’s magazine (March 2021), which is a bumper Easter special!
Food editor Jen Bedlow tried out our knife sharpening and repair service and gave us a 5-star review, highlighting how easy to use our service is and that she would use us again. You can see the full review text below…
TRIED & TESTED: NEW! KNIFE SHARPENING SERVICE BY POST
You don’t realise how blunt a knife has become until you sharpen it properly. I was sceptical about the safety of sending knives in the post, but the Knife Sharp service comes with a cleverly designed ‘knife-box’ and easy-to-follow (read: Jen-proof) instructions.
I chose a box for five knives (£46.95 including box, p&p, and sharpening), which comes with individual cardboard covers for each blade, a plastic envelope to hold the filled box and an address label. There was an update to tell me when Knife Sharp received my knives and note to say when they were due back. The service took a week from dropping off the knife box at my local Hermes drop-off point. You get the same box back through the post with the sharpened knives secure in their sleeves.
VERDICT: I sent a mix of old favourites and new knives, all of which came back in great condition. This is an easy-to-use service – and one I’ll use again.
